In 2014 we launched our Photography Scavenger Hunts in Dover, DE and now we are returning on April 15, 2017 to where it all began! We hope you will grab your friends and camera and come join us for a fun filled adventurous and challenging day! Get ready to make new memories, share lots of laughter, discover historic Dover and take a chance to win a cash prize!!!
The Hunt Basics:
* Prearranged teams of 2-8 people will have 3 hours to capture as many photographs from the Scavenger Hunt list as they can.
* You MUST check off each photo on the checklist as you capture them.
* Find as many photos/treasures on list as you can - make sure to follow the photo rules posted below to receive your points.
* Schedule your time accordingly, checklist MUST be turned in no later than 3pm to be eligible for prizes.
* At 3pm the judges will review each teams photos, treasure loot and checklist. Each teams points will be tallied and the top two teams will be announced and prizes awarded.
* Judges decisions are final!
Photo Rules:
* There MUST be at least 1 team member in every photo in order to receive credit for the photo and points. Faces of team members & other persons DO NOT need to be shown, be creative and fun!
* Certain photos will specifically state that 2 members are required, others will require the whole team - these are all clearly marked. - You MUST have the required number of team members in each photo to receive credit for the photo and points.
* NO camera stands, tripods, monopods!!! Get creative for whole team photos.
* Only one camera per team.
* Subject matter must be clearly seen to receive credit for the photo and points.
* NO Photo Editing.
* Each item on the checklist MUST be in its own photo.
Treasure Rules/Info:
* Collect items specified
* Items MUST be turned in when your teams photos are reviewed and scored.
What You Need to Bring:
* Your Ticket.
* 1 Camera - can be smartphone, iphone, point-shoot, digital slr. Make sure you have plenty of battery (back-up batteries if applicable) for taking photos and photo viewing by judges.
* A small bag for collecting Treasure items
* Water, Gatorade, or other hydrating drink is strongly suggested.
* Comfortable walking shoes.
The following are Suggestions:
* hat
* sunblock
* a dark umbrella to protect from sun & heat
Examples of Photos:

* Team member doing a handstand in the water [20pts]
* 2 team members in a tree [30pts]
* 2 pinecones the size of an avocado [20pts]
* Team member tied to a tree [20pts]
Hunt Check in:
* Will begin at 11am on the Green at Legislative Hall in Historic Dover, DE
* You MUST have your printed ticket to check in!
* At check in your team will receive a Game Packet, that includes: the Photo Scavenger & Treasure Hunt Checklist, a pen, a map of the "game field", a copy of the game rules. A participant badge for each team member. (Write your team name on your checklist, this is required.)
Hunt Finish:
* At 3:00pm ALL teams MUST have their checklist turned in to the “Check in table” which will be located on the patio at Fraizer's Restaurant. Late returns will not be eligible for prizes.
* After all points have been tallied the winners will be announced and prizes rewarded.
* We will have plenty of tables and seating for everyone to sit back, socialize and relax while the judges review photos and tally points. (You are responsible for your own tab at Fraizer's, they will do separate checks).
Cash Prizes:
1st place Team– 25% of ticket sales
2nd place Team – 15% of ticket sales
